State of Affairs in America

The government makes it hard for good citizens to get and keep a gun. Self-defense against the criminal element today is being taken away. Thankfully, guns aren't the only way we have of defending ourselves. Violence increases with each passing years, and with the economy on the down turn, the violence is on the upswing.

I was at a party last week with a girl friend of mine. We both lived in the neighborhood where the party had taken place. We had a few drinks and a good time. Afterward we decided to walk home because of the fact we'd been drinking. About a block from the party, a car-load of guys who had been doing some drinking of their own, spotted her since she was a looker, and pulled over up ahead of us. When we reached the car, they shouted vulgar comments as we walked on past their car.

Then we heard them get out and start walking behind us. The ringleader yelled, "Hey! What's wrong with you bitch, you too good for us?" I saw her pull a cell phone out of her pocket and turn to face the man. I really thought we were in for it, since he had three friends behind him.
